Just be aware when ordering these Keens, that they are a newer and MUCH narrower version of sandals than other Keens. I contacted the manufacturer and they said this footbed is much narrower, but they make 3 others that are the previous footbed. These are Venice, Newport and Ravine. I’ve bought Keens for more than a decade, and they have always been a favorite because they fit. I could not get my foot into the Astoria version, no matter how I tried, and they would have been long enough I think.

Very comfortable and lightweight. My size 9 feet needed a size 10 in these due to length. Let me start by saying that, I’ve realized, all this time, that when people mention “narrow”, they are referring to the “height” or “thickness” of their foot, top to bottom (also, or most of the time) and not specifically just the *WIDTH* (side to side) of their foot, so when I would read reviews, this always threw me off! So, with that said, I’ll explain more thoroughly HOW these fit. The uppers fit very much like the Whisper model. My feet are very thin, low-volume, but WIDE: a C-width. The foot bed accommodates my width (side to side) perfectly! The uppers wrap around the top and sides of my feet also perfectly: snuggly-“hugging” my feet, without being too loose or too tight. The sandals are very lightweight, with a bit of a squishy foot bed and the thickness of the sole adds a bit of height without it being too much. These are the perfect combination of the best of the Venice and Whisper models blended into one perfect sandal! Totally love and recommend these !

I have another pair of Keens similar to these that I’ve loved. They still look awesome after a lot of wear and have gotten more comfortable the more I wear them. This pair will be great, too. The size 12 B is the perfect length. They are quite narrow, which for me is great, because I have a narrow foot and B is the narrowest Keen offers. The elastic string allows for adjustment. Fantastic pair of shoes!

The sandal was uncomfortable because the area across the toe pushed down on that part of my foot – even after I made the elastic very loose. It was the stiff fabric causing the discomfort – even when sitting. I bought size 12 Whispers last year and this was as close to those as I could find. If you ever get the Whispers back in a 12 let me know. I would like another pair.

I should have loved these shoes. They are light weight, adjustable, waterproof, really comfortable – everything you need for those times when sandals are not enough but shoes are too much. Unfortunately, they feel like I’m wearing high heels! Sure enough, when I check the Keen website, they even advertise them as having a wedge heel for a wear in town, and a “woman’s” fit. Unless you actually want high heeled sneakers, don’t order these.

I had to return them though I wanted so bad to keep them. I wear a 10, have an 11 which doesnt fit right in the toe, so ordered a 12 thinking they might fit, but no. Apparently my toes are too fat? I don’t know…. I need a higher toe box I guess you’d say and these just fit wrong. I’m usually very to fit shoes and Keens just don’t work. Disappointed.

These are really cute but everything about the new Keen sizing and foot bed is off for me. I wear a 7 in traditional Keens so ordered a 7.5, but everything was off – length, width, arch support, and heel.

These are nice shoes, but a bit loose for my flat and narrow feet. Notice that this model does not have a strap that tightens around the ankle. I had a different model that i could tighten around the ankle which helped with fit. cushion walk feel, not too soft, but not hard like some other outdoor sandals.

These fit perfect, I am a 10.5 and that’s what I ordered. I have not bought Keen’s in years but purchased them for a trip to Costa Rica. They are much more comfortable and supportive than I remember. I bought the light gray which has a hint of coral, very happy!

My first pair of KEEN sandals. GREAT arch support & CUSHIONY heel as you walk. Generally wear a 8.5 but ordered a 9 thinking would fit better according to some reviews…WRONG. They are true to size. Sometimes I need to wear a wide width, but not in these. Extremely comfortable…like walking on a cloud. So much give to them as you walk. Pricey, but worth the cost!!! Will purchase another pair in a different color. One pair for everyday & another just for vacationing/travel.

These sandals are pricey but maybe worth it–lightweight, comfortable, good support, sturdy, attractive. With age, people lose padding on their feet–even formerly comfortable sandals can become uncomfortable when worn all day and in hot weather. These sandals really don’t have padding but they are amazingly comfortable for aging feet.

Both the right and the left rubbed, right away, on my outside bone on my foot (inside by big toe). I walked around internally with them on and even put moleskin on them, it still was uncomfortable. I looked at my old pair (15+ years) and realized I have a different style. I will return these and order the Keen “Whisper”

I have had Keen sandals for many years and this is the first time I have felt that the footbed was to narrow. Maybe it is becuase the company is trying to fit what they think is a womans foot. I need the wider footbed and unfortunately, I’m sending back this pair. Wore them around the house for one day and got a blister on my little toe. 🙁

I was nervous to try a new style of Keen, and I shouldn’t have been worried at all! This brand is my go to shoes for summer, because they stay on, have good airflow, odor control, and if I need to run after a kid they wear like sneakers. I love how easy it is to wear them in and out of the water and how quickly they dry. I wasn’t sure if I’d love the heel but it is a home run.

I bought these shoes to hike a waterfall in Jamaica. What I didn’t know we were doing was to walk 2+ miles to get there. I have always had to wear orthotics and bought these because of the reviews of the excellent arch support. I was amazed! I have never had a more comfortable shoe that was never worn before, walked miles and climbed up rocks with so much comfort and stability especially being a water shoe. 5 stars, highly recommend!

I live in my Keen Astoria West sandals — and the Orange Wave/Red is gorgeous! So comfortable…I feel like I’m walking on air. I find that the Astoria West is slightly narrower than other Keen sandals — and thus perfect for me. I also love the slight “heel lift” sported by this style.

I have a nice collection of Keen’s Astoria West sandals — and the new Merlot/Scarlet Ibis is a fine addition. This color combination is beautiful — and, as always, the Astoria West is a joy to wear. They’re slightly narrower than other Keen sandals, so they’re perfect for me. The slight heel lift works for me, too. Love these sandals — on and off the trails.

Purchased these for all around walking. Not the most stylish shoe but designed for a narrow foot. Easy to adjust, very comfortable, The rubber insole gets warm but easy to clean. Small stones and debris find their way into the sides. I usually wear an 8/12 and that is what I ordered.
I would recommend this style for someone looking for foot protection and comfort.

This is a great style for women, especially those of us who have a narrow foot. This style fits more like the Whisper except with a higher heel. Size up a half size from your normal foot size as these run about a half size small. I like the black color with the light gray footbed as when it sits in the sun while they are off , they are not burning hot to put back on your feet. Nice cushioned footbed as well. They are also very cute! Nice to wear with shorts, skirts and cropped pants. Very happy with my purchase!
