i’m not a sportsman, a hiker, a rock scrambler or a guy who hangs around the coffee shop reading the news on my laptop. I’m a farmer who needs a comfortable, tough boot that will give me support all day long. I may be in dusty ground, dewy grass or tromping though mud puddles. I need a boot that will repel water in all conditions. This boot meets my needs particularly on the comfort side.
On the negative side, the glue on the soles does not hold. You’ll have to get a tube of glue and take the time to re-adhere the soles from time to time. If you are willing to do this maintenance, you can get a year out of a pair.

I wore these boots on a series of hikes 2 weeks ago and they were very comfortable. I walked over lots of uneven terrain. Some of the trails were very rocky. Inclines were no problem. I would purchase these boots again. I own a pair of Keen sandals that are at least 10 years old and refuse to fail me. I am hoping that these Keen boots perform as well over the next decade.

Strong, good water resistance, a bit bulky and initially stiff. I’ve used this boot only a few times, so I cannot indicate its durability, but it does feel sturdy. The boot tends to be wide and a bit long. If I ordered this again, I would order my true size, 10, and not 10 1/2 as suggested by Bean.

These feel much sturdier than my Targhee Exp Mid WP I bought two years ago, and cost about the same. I will be using these as a casual boot for knockin’ around town on my motorcycle. I’ll continue to use the Targhee Exp Mid as a work shoe, for they feel lighter.

I have returned these boots to Bean. I am a dedicated Keen fanhave owned Keen sandals, casual shoes and steel-toe boots since 2004. I had expected to be as happy with these Circadian hikers as with all the others. But I found them to be too stiff and awkward to serve well for hiking. I have since replaced them with Keen Targhee III Low hikers purchased locally. Both Bean and Keen are blameless in this; I have weird feet and should know better than to try to buy shoes online.

I’ve tried at least a dozen different brands of hiking boots over the years. Finally hit a home run with these. They were recommended by avid hikers that I met on a trail one day. Great support, very comfortable and not heavy. I’ve had them for 7 months now and they still feel great. I did put in a Power Step orthotic insert because of my high arch.

Fit and size are perfect ,I need a wide toe box for my feet.these are best model I found since the gypsum (which I loved,but for some reason they don’t have anymore) 2 thumbs up..!

Beautiful pair of shoes. Perfect fit but slightly wider for medium width. Good arch support but the sole material seemed a bit thin. I haven’t tested them in real rain yet.

First hike and my foot was wet in minutes. Brand NEW boots and the glue on the inside of my left shoes must not me doing it’s job. Right foot dry and comfy. Left foot soaked after 1/4 mile.

I work outdoors and need a waterproof boot that breathes and these boots serve the purpose quite well. The first pair began to fail within a couple of weeks of buying them, but fortunately Zappo’s outstanding customer service arranged for a replacement pair and they are perfect for my needs.

I bought these initially to wear snow tubing, but with the idea of using them for hiking in the summer. They were fabulous for wearing in the snow, with thick, warm socks they kept my feet warm and dry all day. I also like that they were plenty roomy and felt light on my feet.

Size was right on for Keens. They tend to run a little wider. I normally wear an EE or wide size, but regular width Keens are just fine for me. So far these are great. I wanted to steer clear of the Targhee type sole because the last pairs of those I had, the lugs on the side separated from the rest of the sole and became a tripping hazard. These Cicadia soles are more like a single molded piece.
