The boot is very wide. I love the style of it but needed to return as my foot was swimming inside the boot. Also the plaid is not very attractive

Wanted to love this boot but it was HUGE! There was no way to even assess the comfort or support because I was swimming in it. Sadly…had to return.

I had a previous model of this shoe which was super comfortable, but as the rubber sole wore down, they became too slippery for Wisconsin winters.. Last winter I purchased another brand, but it wasn’t comfortable. The reason I can fit into Keens is because they are more generous in their toe box. 90% of size 11’s don’t fit me and 12’s are too big. The ball of my R foot is 1 1/2 times the depth of my L because of an old injury and arthritis. Most shoes and boots don’t have a deep/wide enough toe box. These accommodate my feet. I pull out the insole that’s included which has minimal arch support and insert a substantial insole with a metatarsil pad. There was still room to add a wool sock! I am so pleased that I’ll be ready for winter! I know the rubber soles will wear out much quicker than the tops, which are high quality leather. But I haven’t found another boot as comfortable as these, so I’ll appreciate these for as long as they last.

I was so disappointed! I love the look but they were huge and absolutely no support on the bottom….I already own 4 pairs of Kaci boots and love them….I will try a smaller size perhaps??

too short for my usual size but also too wide.

I am an avid hiker with a wide toe box. I’ve been wearing my Keen Kaci’s for two years now and they haven’t let me down once. They never needed breaking in and two years later they’re still a joy to put on my feet. Im so terrified they are going to stop making them that I’m buying a second pair as a backup. Wish they came in cuter colors, or that the plain brown leather was more readily available!

The shoe is so beautiful and I really wanted to keep them because I love KEEN! Unfortunately, the bosy of the shoe is way too wide and my foot was swimming in the shoe. So sad that I have to send them back.

I normally take a size larger for a boot but had to return as it was too big, my regular size fit perfectly, the toe box so nice and wide, plenty of room for heavy socks. Warm and comfortable.

After wearing Keen boots and shoes since 2003 I think I’m done with the brand. These boots squeak too much and don’t fit like the size I’ve been wearing for almost 20 years. The quality has gone way downhill which makes me sad because it’s been my go to brand for so long.

Fit true to size EXCEPT in width. I have a narrow heel, low-volume foot, and a wide forefoot. These are too narrow in the toe box; my big toe presses against the side of the boot. The footbed is hard as a rock- if they were wide enough I would put in a softer insole but these were a bust.

Although I ordered these boots in a medium width, they came in a wide width. So they are too wide for me. I double checked my order which also says medium width
Otherwise the boots are just what I’m looking for –good walking boots for snowy and winter weather

These shoes are bigger than the regular size you may order, but I love them. I wear custom-made orthotics and I can put them in without taking out the insole. I actually love this. Much wider and bigger than regular, but great for winter! You cannot see the material on the side and back, but it is very lumberjacky… I wish they had used a nicer, more nature lover type of material (not lumberjack-typ), but, it’s okay. I will keep them.

The soles of the shoes and sides seem to have a white, slightly, substance on them, almost as if a light waterproof spray had been applied to them.

Love this shoe! After numerous attempts to find the right winter boot, this one is the one to keep.

They feel stiff, but an old pair of Keen boots eventually felt okay, so I am keeping them. Roomy toe box. Size 9.5 fits my foot which is 10″ long and 9-3/4″ around the widest part of my foot.
Anne –
Felt like it was missing insoles. Boot was just a cavernous hole. No support.

Wide in the toe bed.

I have been wearing Keeb shoes for many, many years! Love these boots! Good all around support. I would recommend any style of Keen footwear!

The fit is true compared to Keen shoes. Not much support or warmth.
Artis –
Short in toe – full size too small in length, fits like a wide everywhere else. Strange fit.
Angela –
The length size is about right. Unfortunately, I have bunions so this was not wide enough for me. I wish they made this boot in W width. The leather is soft and flexible and feels comfortable. The padding and plaid keep you warm and stylish. A very cute design. I just wish it was wider so my toes didn’t feel squeezed.

I have other Keen’s that I’ve had for years and these don’t compare in terms of comfort. They are cute – just not that comfortable.

It’s the toe box that I love! Needs a little breaking in around the top of the foot and ankle because it is a substantial shoe. Toasty. Would love a more streamlined, minimalist warm shoe, but this is the lowest profile winter shoe this year from Keen.

A devoted Keen fan (I have had multiple pairs of the Whisper sandal and love my 7-year-old knee-high snow boots), I was hoping to replace my beloved 7-year-old Kaci boots (no longer available in blue 🙁 ) … Ordered my usual size and had to return for half-size down; they still feel just a tad large but I will probably keep because I think going a full size down won’t work.
They’re super comfortable, a little more stiff at the top, too, than the older version 🙁
Still, love Keens. You can put them on straight out of the box and head out
