While it fit “properly”, the footbed was initially quite firm, and the shoe tended to cause the tops of my feet to go numb after a while. As it has broken in, that has improved. Overall a good quality shoe, with quite good arch support.

I have wide feet with bunions and hammertoes – your basic nightmare. I have worn Keens pretty much exclusively for many years because I couldn’t find any other brand that had a sufficiently wide toe box. I would exchange the Keen insert for my own custom made one and thank heavens for the Keen Corporation. I often said “If it weren’t for Keens, I’d be going barefoot.” Imagine my horror the last 3 years or so when I would order Keens only to find that they were no longer the same: too narrow, toe box not as comfortable, etc. I would hope each season for something I could wear, but would end up returning them. Meanwhile, the last couple pairs I had were getting ridiculously worn out but I kept wearing them. I tried other brands and bought a couple pairs of shoes in desperation, but they were never like Keens.
So I get an email from Zappos that this new Kaci III Winter Slip-On was available. It LOOKED more like the good old Keens – so I ordered them. Hallelujah and praise the Lord – they fit like old times!! My prayers are answered! My only (very small) complaint is that my right heel seems to slip a little when I walk – but no biggie. Thank you Keens, for finally listening to your old time customers! If you make any more styles that are similarly comfortable, I will buy them!!

No padding on heel. Love the style. Was too gappy at sides. Had to return.

I got these to wear as winter shoes that are easy to get on and off and have great traction on the snow and ice. They are very cute and well made as all Keens tend to be. I usually take a 10.5 in Keens, so I got these in that size and the fit is perfect–roomy enough for a thicker pair of socks, but still snug enough not to shift around with each step. Love these, would highly recommend!

Love, Love, Love!!! I love the change in style from previous years on the Kaci….this years reminds me of the styling of OG Keen’s (my fav). They are crazy comfortable and are going to be my go-to shoe this winter! I bought these to travel in November – I’ll be doing a lot of walking – and these will totally fit the bill.

I have wide feet and a high instep. I normally wear a 9.5 in Keen shoes and boots. I ordered these in a 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I bought the original Kaci slip-on and I was disappointed Keen discontinued them. I was happy to find these with the same comfort and fit as the original. I ordered these in black and may have to come back and order them in grey. Well done, Keen.

Love these Keens! Run true to size, nice and wide in forefoot. Very comfy.

Tad stiff but will break in and soften up. Great arch support and like all Keens, lots of room in toe box. Very comfortable.

Not too bad to slip into, but they felt too loose, maybe by 1/2 size too big, but I have high instep, so couldn’t go down a size, or would be too tight on the uppers. They also feel a bit clunky for me, so returning.

Since I read that these shoes had the wide Keen toe box, thought would order, even though I now typically wear a wide shoe. So glad Keen has wised up and offers more of the wider toe areas shoes than the contemporary style they started to make. The solid, sure footed support in this shoe is helpful for my feet and ankles that have arthritis. Tailor bunions that add to feet discomfort do not complain in this shoe. So glad I took time to read the info area that said rounded toe area. Easy to slip on.

I loved these shoes and they were perfectly comfortable, but I needed something with a better grip on the sole.

Right shoe slipping at heel. Left foot perfect.

Disappointed in this year’s version of a popular shoe which I’ve worn for years. I bought the same size but the heel slips on this one. I initially thought they were fine or I would have sent them back but wore them a few days before I realized I had made a mistake. I solved the problem by first buying dr. schools heel inserts and when that wasn’t enough, I put wide Velcro in the top of the shoe and now it’s OK. Love Keens and love Zappoes! Recommend 1/2 size smaller.

I love my tie Keen shoes so thought I would try these. My heel came right out of these shoes so had to return them. I do have a fairly narrow heel.

Love the changes Keen has made. , namely the elastic gusset on both sides. The earlier Kaci was hard to get my foot into because of my high instep, but felt wonderful once it was in. The new Kaci is easier to get on!

These are a bit smaller due to availability. I also got the rust. My regular size is 10, but I thought I’d try half a size down due to fall risk. The gray are 9.5 m and fit securely. The rust are 9.5 w and my toes rub against the end. I really love them except that size 10 wasn’t available.

I always wear a 6.5 size in the Kaci lace up style and have 3 colors as so comfortable. I hoped this new Kaci style would fit the same. Sadly this shoe runs to narrow I could not get my foot in and I don’t have a wide foot. The gray color is really very nice, hope Keen will go back to old fit sizing in the future.

The shoe is well made, but it is narrower with no arch support. This is unfortunate, as I loved Keens for the roomy width and toe box and great arch support and footbed. I have been buying Keens for years, but things have changed in the last couple of years. I believe there is a new owner of Keens and they should rethink the changes they are making. People need shoes that give the foot support and room to wiggle the toes! I’m one of those people!

I have wide feet and these fit me perfectly. The shoes are comfortable and easy to put on and take off. I bought for my outdoor/backyard shoes and they will work perfectly.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I wear them every single day. I have a very wide foot and usually have to size up. These shoes are a perfect fit and I could walk for days in them. Materials are as described.

I really wanted to love these. I have several keen shoes and sandals but these slip up and down on my heels when walking ( I even tried a soft insert ) Front toe box roomy, liked how they looked, oh well.

I really like the fit of the Kaci and own several older styles in the tie boot. The slip on runs to narrow for my medium width foot and had to return. Hope they can widen this style for next fall.

Comfy shoe and wide toe box for my tailor bunion and arthritic feet. I did have to cut the elastic to allow more room around ankle and top of foot area and now, all good. Later, will replace the insole for more support. Like the slip on feature!
Susan –
the toe room is great, but the heel slips too much for me to feel safe wearing these shoes.

These are not like my old keens, maybe they are a lower quality?
