These are insanely huge, to the point where I think they may be mis-marked. My son has been wearing a size 2 Keen Seacamp since last summer. I ordered the Newports in a 3 since that’s what he measured and they were ridiculously big. So I ordered a 2–same size he’s been wearing–and they are easily at least a half size larger if not more than the Seacamps in the same size. We’ve all been wearing Keens for ages but I think we may have to switch brands. Super disappointed. The pictures show his old ones next to the new ones, both in size 2.

I love these shoes – I’m an adult. Typically I wear a men’s 6 or 6.5 and a women’s 7.5. So, my feet are small enough to fit in kids shoes, but I have moderately wide feet. The fit would be better for narrower feet, my pinky toe gets smooshed but not in such a way that causes pain or discomfort. I bought a size 5. It fits almost perfect minus needing 1/8-1/4″ more in width. If you’re buying for your children it may be best for them to try these on since these shoes may not size the way other keens size (I have keen boots and take women’s 7.5, wear thick socks and still have some room for the toes to stretch out!)
I have them in 3 colors and they all fit differently so not sure what’s happening there. The green ones have this part on the outer part of the shoe, near the ankle, it comes up high and hits my ankle bone. Again, doesn’t hurt but doesn’t feel good either. The blue and gray pair do not do this as much. All of my shoes have little use so I think they still need to break in. I wore my green ones for an 8 mile walk and didn’t have them tight enough and got hot spots on the bottom of my foot. It doesn’t sound like I’m selling these well, but if they had them in adult sizes I would pay the extra money and buy them. I bought 3 pairs of these because the 2nd 2 were on sale and they are very light but the sole feels very durable. My Keen Newports are wide enough but feel extremely heavy. These are replacing those shoes and sneakers for the summer.

Ordered based on previous orders. My son wears a sneaker size 5 to 5 1/2. These seem to run pretty large. Last summer I bought a size 3, when he was a sneaker size 4. This summer I ordered a size 4 (since sneaker size 5) and they fit perfect. I would estimate these run a full to almost 1 1/2 size large. Definitely order down, about 1 size. Not narrow, not wide, good medium width. Straps can be loosened/tightened for comfort. Great summer & amusement/water park shoe. Closed toe but water friendly. He says they’re very comfortable! We like all the color options, loves to pick his new summer color each year.

My town boys love their Keens sandals for going creeking or any other adventures where they may want to get their feet wet. The tennis shoe type sole in conjunction with the Keen sandal is an awesome combination.

Great shoe! I got these for my 7 and 8 year old boys (and the smaller size version for my 4 year old son) and they have held up awesome. They wash well and wear well. By the end of summer, nearly end of summer, they still are in good shape. I do wish they had 1/2 sizes because I had to size up quite a bit in case they had a growth spurt and all my boys still have room in the shoes (only the 8 year old has the shoe fitting just well and not oversized by the end of summer). I will purchase these again next summer.

My son loves his new Keens. I generally buy him the Keen Seacamp CNX sandals, as he has a narrow foot and likes how lightweight they are. This time we ventured out to try something new as we were looking for something with a bit more tread on the bottom. I was concerned they would be too heavy and wide for his feet as the Keen Newport H2s typically run too wide for him, but the Newport Neos fit great with room to grow and we were able to adjust them to the correct tightness. My son says the Seacamps and the Neos are equally comfortable but he feels like he has a lot more traction with the Neos. Being that he wears his Keens year-round, and they never wear out, we’ll keep purchasing Keens! We’ve always been able to wash and hand-down every pair of Keens my son has worn since he was a toddler. They truly last and that’s saying something considering how active my son is, and how hard he is on his shoes!

Great shoe, it runs a full size larger then normal Keen Kids shoes. We ordered the size 4 big kids and had to exchange for a size 3.

Perfect for the summer, always have a pair of Keens to go boating, walking, fishing. I prefer the mens style but since it does not come in small enough sizes in mens, I go for Big Kids! Great fit, great price too.

My son has worn this style Keen every spring/summer for the last 5 years. They are his go-to shoe for all adventures outside. They are excellent quality, and the fit is consistent! We order the next size up every year. Another great thing about these shoes is that they are comfortable right out of the box-they require no “breaking in” time, which is great because they are intended to be worn without socks. Love these!

Others state shoe runs a size big – these seemed to fit my sons foot perfectly. We tried a similar Chaco model shoe and my son hated it – noted it was very uncomfortable. These, however, he’s very happy with. Multiple hikes and swimming holes later – no complaints. Only issue I have with them is they dont really have the best grip on wet rock.

This is my son’s second pair of these exact Keens. They hold up really well, he outgrows them long before they show any real wear and tear. Perfect for summer camp, great for wearing in and out of the water, easy to hose down clean. They do take a little longer to dry than a typical “water shoe” but for us that is well worth the tradeoff for the comfort and durability.

As most of the other reviewers stated, these shoes do run large. The first pair was way too big so we returned them for a full size down which is better but still feels a tad large. It’s been a few years since she has worn Keen water shoes but I expect that they will hold up well for the summer. She wore these for her school’s camping trip.

I wanted Keens hiking sandals but wanted coverage for my heels, which the adult style doesn’t have. When I found the kid’s style, I had to buy them. Big bonus was my feet were small enough for big kid sizes so I also saved money. Only thing is, they don’t come in 1/2 sizes so they’ll be looser if you size up.
