Comfortable right out of the box! Keen does not disappoint.

I really liked these shoes. Great looking and slipper comfortable. Problem was the width in the toe box to the arch. These were very wide and the design didn’t really allow for tightening. My foot is a medium width but these were just too roomy and would not work for hiking in freezing temps. Returned and will try something else.

I’ve wore Keen shoes and boots for over 20 years, mainly because I enjoy a wide toe space- especially when hiking. I was surprised when these boots arrived. They are much too long. I have always wore a 8.5 womens in Keens, and I found that a 8.5 has been true to size for me. These boots fit more like a 9-9.5. I’ve included a photo of the new boots on the right and an old pair of Keen shoes on the left. I don’t have my old Keen hiking boots to show the difference, and I’m sure that showing a shoe and a boot is not completely fair, since shoes are not as chunky. But the length difference is real. The fit is much too large (long). I’m returning these boots and ordering the next size down (womens 8), hoping that they will fit because I like the look, function and feel of the boot otherwise.

I absolutely love these Keen boots! They are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn. I take my dog for walks on trails and through the neighborhood and they feel great and keep my feet warm and dry. Thank you Keen for making these awesome boots and shoes!

My feet are pretty flat. These shoes feel good. After a week of wearing and walking (home, turf, concrete, asphalt so far), these shoes are very comfortable and warm in temps in the 30s F. Excited to try them on the trails soon.

Wear them everyday to work. Very Comfortable

I wish so bad this style came in a wide size, or that the standard width was as wide as all other Keens. I have a pair of NXIS low shoes on my feet right now and they are perfect- I was hoping the boot would be the same. There are many excellent technical details that made me love the boot, but it’s just too narrow to live with. My stupid feet are different sizes, so my left foot would be very happy, but the right is getting squeezed. Without a “wide” width I could probably take a 13 on the right foot and a 12 on the left, but I’m not about to buy 2 pairs.

I so very much wish this boot was offered in a wide size…I might not wear any other boot. My right foot is wider than my left. The left foot was perfectly happy, but the right was being squashed just enough that I know I can’t do it. If I had money to burn I would buy a pair of 13s for my right foot and 12 for the left. For other people with normal feet- I think you will be blown away by how great this boot is- tons of cool functional technical details.

“Heel Lock” feature is very uncomfortable, with side plastic cutting in (painfully) and making heel fit very tight. Also lacing is very awkward. Since the laces are going through plastic loops on the top, they don’t stay tightened when you’re tying them. Plus they are very difficult to get on.
Really wish they didn’t have all these problems as I really like the styling, material and comfort of the footbed,

Solid; good sole; attractive; waterproof. Keep iw making some shoes with a more contemporary appearance; finally. But there is INadequate forefoot (ball of the foot) padding for a 68 y/o man. No insulation noticed. For above 45 degrees and with more bounce in the sole, it would have been a keeper.
