What happened to the signature Keen Toes? Like several other pairs I purchased this year replacing ones of the same style none have that Keen toe. This is not as comfortable as any of the past of this style. The heel slips a bit. I currently still have 2 of these from before in various stages of being worn out & neither nor any of the ones before them felt like these. These are stiffer, more clunky when walking. It’s a shame they didn’t leave the really nice comfortable shoes as they were. Keen was always my go to shoes & boots brand, but they changed, & not so much for the better.

I’m not a fan of hiking in boots, but on snowy trails, my trail runners just don’t cut it. I bought this boot about a month ago and they fit great right out of the box and no problems breaking them in. They do feel stiff, but I think any boot is going to feel stiff after running shoes. The best part about these boots is that my feet are NEVER cold. I’ve worn them out for multi-mile hikes in sub-zero temps with snow and my toes stay toasty.

These Keen winter boots are the boots I have been hoping to find. I have very crabby feet and these boots are very comfortable. It’s going to be wonderful to have warm, comfy, dry feet in Nebraska’s -25 degree weather as I enjoy my grandson sledding and snow blow my side walks and driveway.

Amazing quality so far!!! Very impressed with these.

Bulky and uncomfortable initially. Returning these before breaking in, I don’t imagine they’ll get enough better.

I had wanted so much to love these boots since they have the highest safety rating on RateMyTreads, a Canadian site that reviews winter boots for slip resistance. But they are just too wide, which isn’t surprising since I normally wear a narrow shoe. But I had hoped that by adding an insole or wearing really heavy socks, they would fit. Alas, that was not to be. That’s what I love about Zappos, the generous return policy.

These were new to me this last freezing cold spell. I wore them to work (delivering packages). Tread is pretty good for not slipping. Warmth and dryness quite good. I found the fit perfect, comparable to my targhee 3 shoes. Comfortable right out of the box. I will probably return these regrettably because the rubber is already beginning to pull off the toe.

KEEN boots never disappoint. Comfortable from the minute I put them on. They are a little higher than my usual purchase so that will take a little getting used to. I don’t mind. Definitely need it for when I hike.

Wore these delivering in cold weather- SO comfortable! Kept my feet very warm and absolutely NO blisters right out of the box, delivered for 10 hours and they were super comfy! Thanks Keen!

Love them! They keep my feet comfortable and warm.

These boots would take a long time to break in, if ever. I have very bony ankles, one has a metal plate from a broken ankle years ago. Wish I could find high tops that fit. They are very stiff and heavy though, keep that in mind. You loose a lot of mobility with the design. Great for shoveling your driveway or running errands in the snow. But I wouldn’t hike in them, too stiff – almost like snowboarding boots.

They are pretty comfortable. Very sturdy. A bit heavy though but are worth it

These boots are very warm and toasty – exactly what I need for an upcoming trip to Scandanavia. They run a bit long and wide, but that is fine because with extra socks they will fit well. And there is room for adding an orthotic if needed. They lace up quite high, and that constricts full ankle movement, so I can see keeping the top hooks unlaced when the snow isn’t deep. The supposed anti-slip soles will get their test when we are walking on the ice in Tromso!

Perfect for hiking the Grand Canyon during winter season! Keeps your feet warm and dry.

Absolutely love these boots. Been wearing them for about 4-5 months now. easy to break in and provide so much support while I’m running around on deliveries all day. My only regret is I didn’t get the ones with more ankle support
Elizebeth –
The size was smaller than I expected, the material was great. The width was little narrower than I expected.

Everything fit great. Only drawback is the tongue area becomes a bit uncomfortable if they aren’t tied just right.

Perfect fit as usual. This is my 4th pair of the Revel. Love them to hike with my dog Huck. Keep my feet warm and dry. If you’re on the fence I say buy them.

I drive/deliver for amazon. I run, jump in and out of the van all day. Just finished the Christmas rush working 6 day and 60 hour work weeks in -10 Wisconsin weather. They are great shoes. Took a bit to break in. But worth it. Tough, rugged, quality well made and attractive work shoes. I wear these out running errands also.. So glad I chose these.

I have a pair of keens in size 8 for women . But I normally wear 7-7.4 in sneakers / boots . Their size 7.5 is super loose at toe box and I know I will get blisters. Order a size down is what I recommend unless your feet are fat.

Long hours working for very comfortable shoes.

These are a little big for me but I wear them with thick socks! The first two times wearing them were literal hell. I was limping by the end of my DA shift (iykyk). Bring an extra pair of shoes to change into unless you love pain. I was getting boot bang around my shins, and I had bruises for weeks. I actually ended up wrapping a thick sock around my leg UNDER my sock to cushion the blow. HOWEVER. Definitely worth it! They felt heavy for the first week or so, and took some getting used to. My agility was a little hindered. But, after wearing them for the whole winter, I love them. I only work part time, so they haven’t taken much of a beating, but I know I’ll be able to wear them for hiking as well. I have high arches and I wear insoles in mine. Worth the money (esp with the credit), waterproof, warm, comfy.
