Fit was fine but a bit stiff-ish. I returned them because the color was not as vibrant as shown on web site. A dull, dark green and brown.

This hiking shoe is very much as described and previously reviewed. It offers surprisingly good support for a low top, it is comfortable on all surfaces I have tried so far, it appears well made and utilizes solid materials, it has a wide toe box which makes it very comfortable (no pinched toes). I can’t tell how effective the ventilation is yet; I need to wear some more in different temps. and environments — air does flow through it, but how much it helps is unknown now. I wore these shoes right out of the box and they were comfortable and are only feeling better the more I wear them. Delivery was fast. I am quite happy with the purchase

These shoes run a little wider, but felt comfortable during the first few times I tried them on. However, the support in the shoe is poor and my feet soon began to become sore and irritated. I received pain across the ball of the foot and along the big toe. Had to return them.

First pair of Keens that I felt had a smaller than usual toe box. Would recommend getting a larger wider size. Good quality I wear the high top for outside work for extra ankle support.

This will be my 2nd pair of these shoes. As mentioned before, ladies don’t miss out on the shoe just because they are mens. If you wear real doctor orthotics (not just the Dr Scholls) these are the same as the ladies but a bit wider to accommodate the orthotic. Just not the ladies colors. Look and feel the same but wider.

I’ve tried numerous different shoes lately. From sneakers to hiking shoes. None were very comfortable, some better than others. I decided to splurge on a higher end shoe to see if that was my problem. Bingo! Right out of the box these were perfect. Just the right amount of support, fit perfectly (love the larger toe box). Keen will be my go to from now on.

Arch support, like every other aspect of a shoe’s fit is in the feel of the wearer. I could feel the arch support but it wasn’t obtrusive. These Targhee Vents seem to run a tad shorter than the Keen Voyageurs. Keen used to be my go-to shoe – not so much anymore as they’re turning out increasingly procustean designs. Keen’s used to meet my duck feet’s requirements for a narrow heel, wide ball, and room for long 3rd and 4th toes. This Targhee Vent is like so many of the newer Keen’s: narrow in the toe box while suffering from a wide sloppy heel bed with no heel lock so the feet slide forward in the shoe until tender toes are jammed into the narrower toe box. Too bad. I’ll now be hunting for the occasional Merrell that doesn’t suffer from a short toe box and fancying some Altras (they look like they were made for humanish feet that have been cultured by years of flip-flops and Top-Siders).

Keen used to be a high-quality shoemaker, but their quality control has gone dramatically downhill over the last several years. For shoes that cost over $150, I expected better than this. Note the lack of attention to detail in the stitching on the side. I observed various similar defects on some of the other Keen’s I purchased in this order. Also, the forefoot area is a good 1/4” narrower than previous versions of this model. That may not seem like much, but after walking around on concrete floors for 10 hours a day, as your feet swell, even slightly, you may find that it matters quite a bit. I rated them as “narrower” in width, for that reason. I also found this same narrowing of the forefoot area on all six pairs of the various Keen’s I ordered, so if you want a nice, roomy toe box, I suggest you look elsewhere

Keen boots are comfortable from day 1! These I chose as they are ventilated and perfect for summer hikes. True to size and are a good value as they are long lasting…I know as our family owns between us 4 pair.

Great shoes with the expected Keen quality. I’m a Keen fan as I love the stability and the ample toe box you get with their products. I live in Keen sandals all summer but needed a stable low cut hiking type shoe for longer milage walks with my dogs. Bean’s advice to go 1/2 size up is right on

These are really good shoes. I bought them for a European we will be taking and I’ve been wearing them for the past few weeks to break them in. I’ll be using them primarily for walking in the city, not the wilderness. They are very comfortable and provide a “spring” in my step. I’d buy them again in a heartbeat!

Ugly as hell but super comfortable. Roomy in the toe, soft supportive sole. I have the waterproof mid’s for hiking and absolutely love them. I thought I’d try these for work as they have the same sole. I’m glad I did, they’re great. Plus I don’t have to worry about any pesky female’s trying to have sex with me.

I was really looking for some keen shoes for casual wear, I looked at these for a while. I decided to buy them and I’m a fan for sure, the greatest thing I can say, they fit perfectly out of the box, no Break In needed.I currently have 8 pair of keen shoes and boots in the closet.
