You brought these back!!!
And in solid black! They are more comfortable than ever!!! I wear these all year long and you can never discontinue these again!

I can’t tell you how excited I was to have Keen bring back the Waimea! Regular flip-flops don’t cut it for comfort and safety – it’s the toe bumper that is the star of this sandal. Maybe it doesn’t appear stylish, but if you are active and need stability on all surfaces, or want to drive safely – it all makes sense. I wear an 8 in most every shoe, and this 8 was perfect length and width. Colors are drab this time around, and would love to see the bright stripe or beachy colors return. Thank you, Keen!!

I love that keen brought these back and in leather, no less! I bought the saddle AND the black! They look great!! Unfortunately, the fit seems slightly different and less comfortable than those of old. The strap between the toes seems really snug. When trying these on, not only does the strap dig into my foot, but the snugness of it forces the bottom of the shoe out of alignment with my foot. Sadly, sending both pairs back. Would try again in the hope that I got defective pairs, but don’t imagine that’s likely, so it’s not worth the effort.

So excited to see the bumper-toe thong back – It used to be Waimea H2O. You will appreciate the stability of this over flip-flops and they allow you drive safely, walk through water, and run with the dog. It’s an everyday sandal for active people. Thank you Keen!!! Now come out with the colors we love for summer.

These are great…I prefer Keen Maui but I guess they discontinued them.

This sandal is not for narrow feet. I had to return.

I am beyond happy that they brought the Waimea back! Agree with others that now it’s time for fun colors. I wore a 7.5 in Waimea originally, now it only seems to be offered in whole sizes. A 7 works best for me, even with a wide foot. I may buy backups in case they lose their minds at Keen and discontinue this again.

Keen did not check the angle of the toe strap before finalizing the design. It’s like no one bothered to try on a pair of these shoes after they came off the assembly line.. Toe strap is totally off kilter. When you walk, the back of your foot slides to the side and off the shoe. Ridiculous. Sending them back.

I have many pre-2010 pairs of the Waimea H2O. I bought every pair I could find in my size when I realized Keen was not going to make them anymore. So glad they have brought them back, but the new version is not as wide as the original. Sometime after 2010 all the outdoor companies switched to skinny lady versions of clothes, shoes, etc. So these were too skinny for me and the bumps in the sole are in the wrong places to support my feet. The women’s 8 was okay for length – just all the other issues. Bought the men’s 7s and they are a better fit overall, just a little long. Will go with the men’s.

Love the fact that these have a toe guard. Super comfy. The only downside are the limited (and masculine) color choices. Would love to see these in more feminine color ways.
